October 1, 2009. Farmers Branch, TX.  The Grapevine High School Mustangs took to the ice for their first regular season game tonight versus the Denton County Spartans.  The Mustangs coming off of a solid tournament performance just two weeks prior looked out of sync and unable to find a gear.  The team struggled early giving up a goal at 2:15 in the first period and fell behind 3-0 after one period.  The team looks to get back into the thick of it next Thursday, October 8 (Game TBD – still waiting on the league to publish schedule).
